This service is specifically for times when you are thinking of attending the Emergency Department but feel unsure, and your regular GP is unable to assist, for example, after-hours
The Small Towns After Hours (STAH) program allows you to access a doctor at an emergency department even when the usual doctor is away. The STAH program is a phone service which links registered nurses in remote local health districts, where a local general practitioner is temporarily unavailable, to a general practitioner in a larger centre who can provide over the telephone advice.
